Our Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst builds positive relationships with clients, carriers and fellow team members while assisting our Claims Departments with our agency's daily claims intake and processing activities. This requires providing prompt, accurate and courteous service.
Familiarity with lines of coverage and policy structure and language.
Must have claims intake and processing skills and the ability to assist clients and process claims with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Monitors the insurers appropriateness of reserves and adequacy throughout the life of the claim.
Ability to communicate with carrier regarding reviews of all claims to ensure quality claims service.
Expertise in the use of Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft programs - especially Word.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills, telephone etiquette, and follow up and follow through.
Ability to work independently, prioritize and manage workload, and identify and act upon urgent tasks.
Experience working with various office equipment and systems including computer, copy machines, scanners, etc.
