Applied Underwriters (a Berkshire Hathaway Company) is looking to add a Lien Hearing Representative to our growing Law Office in Orange, California. The successful candidate will evaluate and negotiate liens in the office and attend Lien Conferences in Orange County and the surrounding area. Candidates must be able to work independently in a fast paced work environment. Qualified candidates must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work quickly and effectively. The successful candidate must be a team player.
Candidates must have a minimum of three years experience as a lien hearing representative with extensive knowledge of lien statutes and case law. The successful candidate must have demonstrated ability to evaluate and negotiate liens, prepare exhibits, pre-trial conference statements, hearing reports, lien settlement agreements and stipulations and orders to pay lien claimants.
