AWCP Mini Conference

“Spring into Action: A Morning with the Ratings Experts!”

The Association of Workers’ Compensation Professionals (AWCP), along with title sponsor, iRatings, LLC, will be holding a mini-conference on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, entitled, “Spring into Action: A Morning with the Ratings Experts!” The four-hour conference will be held at National University, 3390 Harbor Blvd., Costa Mesa, CA 92626 beginning with registration and continental breakfast at 8:00 a.m.

Our experts will reacquaint the audience with basic rating concepts as a foundation for addressing more challenging ratings. The foundation will be built upon through the course of the program with expert perspective on rating common conditions in workers’ compensation and how to address controversies from a legal perspective.

The learning objectives are as follows:

*Review the California Permanent Disability Rating Schedule
*Define the difference between whole person impairment and permanent disability
*Review Chapters 15 (Spine), 16 (Upper Extremities) and 17 (Lower Extremities)
*Defenses for challenging erroneous ratings including Almaraz/Guzman and Ogilvie ratings
