WorkCompCentral was created in 1999 by David DePaolo, then a workers' compensation attorney. Mr. DePaolo recognized the industry need for objective, reliable current information and educational resources.

Over the past 7-years, thousands of workers' compensation professionals have come to rely on us daily for accurate, timely news, information products and educational resources. We are nationally recognized as the most reliable and accurate workers' compensation resource in the industry.

WorkCompCentral EDEX grew out of the realization that there could be a better, faster, less expensive EDEX!

EDEX was the next logical step for the top workers' compensation information service by integrating data from an official source, the State of California, in to the overall user experience.

Realizing that there was a gap in what could be done with EDEX information, WorkCompCentral developed several products that were designed to increase the usefulness of the information provided by the state. In addition, ease of access and top customer support were of paramount concern to the WorkCompCentral EDEX designers.

Consequently, not only do WorkCompCentral EDEX users have a host of tools not found with other EDEX vendors, they can receive unparalleled customer support from a live service representative during the business week from 6am to 6pm, and on the weekends from 10am to 2pm (holidays accepted). Starting in February of 2009 WorkCompCentral and EDEX Information Systems partnered together to provide the California Workers' Compensation system unparalled new access to the new California EAMS(Electronic Adjudication Management System) system utilizng the power of EDEX and superior knowledge and experience the two companies have with electronic lien filing and form processing.
