The Workers Injury Law and Advocacy Group opened registration for its 2020 annual convention, which will be held virtually Oct. 5-7.
The event will feature sessions providing legislative updates at both the federal and state level, as well as a discussion about the future of workers’ compensation and the gig economy.
Other sessions will explore topics that include cutting edge spinal surgery techniques, catastrophic injury assessment, post-traumatic stress disorder and medical marijuana.
Schedules are still being finalized for breakout sessions exploring issues relating to the Federal Employees' Compensation Act and the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
Additional information, including a link to register for the convention, is here.
