The Workers’ Compensation Administration will move its southeast New Mexico field office from Lovington to Hobbs over the Labor Day weekend.
The administration said in a press release Monday that the Lovington office will close on Wednesday, Aug. 30, and reopen in the James M. Murray State Building in Hobbs on Tuesday, Sept. 5. The distance between the two offices is 28 miles, according to Google Maps.
The new address will be James M. Murray State Building, 2120 N. Alto — Unit 3, Hobbs, NM 88240. The phone number will be 800-934-2450.
Customers may contact the Roswell office at 866-967-5667 if they need assistance during the period the Lovington office is closed, the administration said.
