Chubb Tempest Re has hired Christopher Holland as a vice president focused on U.S. casualty treaty underwriting, according to news reports.
At Chubb Tempest Re, Holland will handle casualty and specialty casualty reinsurance business, including workers’ compensation, environmental liability and excess casualty, Reinsurance News reported on Tuesday.
Holland joined Chubb Tempest Re this month, according to his LinkedIn profile. He previously was a vice president at AXIS Capital, where he worked in treaty reinsurance and specialized in workers’ compensation, alternative risk and other casualty product lines.
Located in Stamford, Connecticut, Chubb Tempest Re USA writes all lines of traditional and specialty property and casualty business for clients in the U.S., according to the company’s website.
