The Department of Industrial Accidents and the Department of Health and Human Services on Wednesday today will hear comments on changes in workers' compensation rates.
The listening session will be from 1-3 p.m. in Conference Room No. 3 at 1 Ashburton Place, 21st Floor, in Boston, according to information from the departments.
The agencies are seeking input from medical providers, insurers, claimants, and other interested stakeholders regarding workers’ compensation rates and how they affect coverage, consumer access and quality of care.
The state's Workers' Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau this year announced a 12.9% reduction in rates, to take effect in July.
