The auditor's report (in 2019) indicated a 30% fee increase was appropriate.
Remember that there has not been a change in the med-legal fee schedule since 2006, while other fee schedules have had much larger increases over the years. If the WCIRB analysis is correct then this fee increase is not adequate to make up for the 16 years with no adjustments

The Auditor's estimate, while perhaps not as precise as the Rating Bureau's, remains the better index as Dr. Rosenberg points out. If the WCIRB were to apply a COLA to the former fee schedule rates year over year since 2006, the overall result would likely be much more in line, but still less than the Auditor's estimate.
