We’re a small software start-up in Manhattan and we’re known for the free resources we offer to our industry, which is workers’ compensation/occupational medicine billing. We need an experienced, well-rounded marketing director who can:
The material is technical and complex, encompassing topics in law and legislation, insurance, regulatory compliance, revenue cycle management, and medical bill processing. A background in workers’ comp / occupational medicine is a huge plus.

Some things you should know about us and the job:
Develop and implement a brand and marketing strategy.
Take charge of our email campaigns, social media presence, pages and pages of website content, and all the other ways in which we communicate.
In addition to generating new ideas for content, survey a large body of existing content, then organize it and figure out ways to get it out to our current and prospective customers.
Work closely with both sales and product development teams to define marketing goals and materials.
Track marketing performance metrics.
Maintain relations with existing users, including initiating customer-relations programs and upselling.
Manage and attend conferences, and coordinate conference materials and displays. Travel is a mandatory part of the position.
Manage a full-time blogger and at least one or two other content creators (who we are in the process of hiring, so if you know someone who would be great, drop us a line).
On-site in Manhattan is mandatory.
This is a full-time independent contractor-to-hire position: to start, a three month trial period as an independent contractor, and if everything works out, we’ll hire you as an employee. You will be eligible for health insurance coverage after three months as an employee.
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
