The New Jersey Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau has revised its fines for late financial data submissions, the agency announced Wednesday.
Currently, the bureau charges $5,000 per company for data that is less than two weeks late, and $10,000 per company for data that is more than two weeks past due. Starting in 2019, the bureau will switch to a more-graduated fine schedule:
The due date for the acknowledgment form has been changed, to March 1. The new fine structure will also apply to late submission of the acknowledgment form, the bureau said.
