Workers’ compensation insurance carrier MEMIC named Robb Atkinson senior public relations and communications specialist.

Atkinson brings an extensive wealth of expertise in public relations, marketing strategy and content development to the position, MEMIC said in a statement.

He managed sales, products and services for more than 100 television stations as the senior director of sales and affiliate relations for CNN. Before that, he served as the news director for WGME television in Portland, Maine; WATE in Knoxville, Tennessee; and WWAY in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Atkinson earned a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of New Hampshire’s Paul College in 2019.
