Texas Mutual Insurance Co. announced Thursday the promotion of Jeremiah Bentley as vice president of marketing and customer engagement.
Bentley will oversee the company’s advertising and public relations efforts, community affairs program, online and social media efforts, and customer engagement team, the carrier said in a press release.
Bentley joined Texas Mutual in 1998 and has served in several roles. Most recently, he was the senior manager of marketing and community affairs.
Bentley led a Texas Mutual team last year in developing Safety in a Box, a virtual reality tool used for workplace safety in the insurance industry. Texas Mutual said it received the Innovation in Action Award from Strategy Meets Action, a strategic advisory services firm, and Bentley was honored with a Comp Laude award from WorkCompCentral.
Bentley is a board member of the United Way for Greater Austin, a member of the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce Special Events and Partnerships Committee, a member of the City of Austin’s Citizen Bond Advisory Task Force and an advisory board member of Emerging Leaders of Insurance in Texas (ELITexas).
Bentley earned his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Arlington and is a certified professional marketer.
