The Pasco County Sheriff's Office arrested three people on suspicion of failing to secure workers' compensation coverage and contracting without a license, during an undercover sting operation this month, the Tampa Bay Times reported Thursday.

The sting took place May 10-11 at a single-family home in Zephyrhills, the Sheriff's Office said. Detectives invited 16 contractors they believed to be unlicensed to the home to provide quotes for installing a patio.

The sting led to the arrests of Cory Martin, 28, Christopher Clark, 35, and Richard Beckwith, 56, who all showed up at the home and provided quotes. They were charged with failure to secure workers' compensation and contracting without a license.

A fourth contractor sent a quote via email. The Sheriff's Office said it planned to arrest him as soon as possible.
