The Kansas Department of Labor will hold a public hearing on Aug. 10 to discuss proposed changes to workers' compensation medical fee schedules.

The proposed changes to the schedules have not been published, said department official Jose Castillo, but will be available at the hearing or by contacting Castillo at Jose.Castillo@ks.gov.

Current and previous schedules are available on the department's website.

Interested parties may submit written comments prior to the hearing to the Division of Workers Compensation, 401 SW Topeka Blvd., Suite 2, Topeka, KS, 66603, or by email to Castillo.

Speakers may be limited to five minutes each, the division said.

The hearing will begin at 3 p.m. in Hearing Room 3 of the Labor Department Building in Topeka.
