Take a look at my workcompcentral column entitled "SB 863 Benefits Employers, Harms Injured Workers," 2016-07-26 -- that SB 863 is a wolf in sheep's clothing has long been known. This article discloses some of the ways physical therapy is often wrongly curtailed under color of law. We'll see how well SB 537 manages to correct abuses that were actually revealed three years ago in a workcompcentral column.

Harbor Health Medical Provider Network which is currently the MPN utilized by SCIF, Sedgwick CMS, and more, is owned by OneCall. Harbor Health MPN requires all UR referrals go through OneCall, isn't that a direct referral for financial gain?

PTP's need to do a better job of justifying their requests. Every RFA should have an MTUS or ODG checklist attached.
