Kids' Chance of America welcomed Arizona-headquartered CopperPoint Insurance Cos. as its newest corporate partner.
Kids' Chance said in a statement that CopperPoint has been a longtime supporter of its efforts to provide scholarships to children affected by a parent's work-related injury or death. Two of the carrier's executives serve on Kids' Chance state-level boards: Marsha Brown, vice president of distribution, serves on the Arizona board, and Kris Mathis, senior vice president of claims, serves on the California board.
“We are extremely grateful for the support of our dedicated partners,” said Kevin Turner, president of Kids’ Chance of America. “Their commitment helps propel us toward the future we envision in which no student is denied an education due to financial constraints from a parental workplace injury or fatality.”
The Kids' Chance of America Partnership Program requires a commitment of at least $100,000 paid over four years.
CopperPoint Insurance Cos. is a provider of workers’ compensation and commercial insurance through carriers including CopperPoint, Pacific Compensation Insurance Co. and Alaska National Insurance Co.
