Alliant Insurance Services hired Steven Bubes as a vice president on its West Coast benefits team.

In his new position, Bubes will deliver integrated employee benefits programs intended to reduce health care costs and increase organizational efficiency.

Alliant said in a statement that Bubes is well-regarded for his ability to form partnerships with clients to help them reduce spending and improve business outcomes by modifying their employee benefit plans, human resources information systems, talent management and payroll systems.

Before joining Alliant, Bubes was senior vice president with a full-service insurance and employee benefits consulting firm serving a diverse base of California clients. He also has extensive experience in the payroll industry working with two of its largest organizations.

Bubes earned his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Colorado at Boulder. He will work out of Alliant’s office in Newport Beach, California.
