Dismayed, but not at all surprised that State Fund, it's outside collection agency, and the law firm representing both would appeal from a trial court decision setting aside a default judgment entered against an employer despite the marginal facts supporting the judgment. Why not give the employer the ability to defend the premium claim on its merits?
