The Funding Commission was designed in 1987 to be an alternative to having the WC System funded by general tax dollars and gubernatorial budgets.
Although Mr. Hacker appears qualified to serve on many Commissions, he is not a laborer and/or Labor leader as required and contemplated by the Legislature in 1987 to insure a “Funding Commission” representative of Kentucky’s WC community. This position should be filled by a representative of Labor not a general contractor. This
