God forbid firefighters have to prove that their cancer was work-related! The humanity! And if the cancers are so clearly work-related, as the firefighters associations would have you believe, then it seems clear that they would have no problem providing evidence that it is work-related. Yes? And if firefighters get the presumption, then how about the myriad of other occupations that work around carcinogens? But they don't have a large lobbying fund which pays off politicians. How silly of me!
