An interpreter who allegedly solicited an injured worker to falsely represent that he required the interpreter's services is appealing a $2,500 sanction imposed by Workers' Compensation Administrative Law Judge Agnes Barling.The case is Stambuk v. WCAB, No. G046810.Alberto Stambuk, the chief executive officer of Logos Language in Santa Ana, was a lien claimant in a compensation case filed by Gabriel Sanchez.

“I offered 35 dollars witness fee at his status conference. Most applicants after settling their case move to different addresses and are difficult to reach to serve them a subpoena. I was only explaining him the process. Mr. Sanchez by his own admission in his deposition stated that he spoke 50 per of English. And used our services in the beginning of the case. ”
