These new WCC LP and PTD Commutation Calculators have been engineered to deliver the same results that are provided by the Disability Evaluation Unit as of 8/29/2012.

WCC has extended the Present Value of Life Pension tables from fourteen to eighteen years of deferment (from 730 to 940 weeks, approximately) by mathematical extrapo­lation to account for the greater weeks of PD resulting from the 2005 PDRS. The “official” tables mandated by Regulation 10169 are valid only to fourteen years, or 730 weeks. Thus any commutation involving PD in excess of 730 weeks would not have been accurate. These new tables, though not yet approved by DWC, resolve these errors.
