When will our elected officials realize the urgency to reform the horrible medical treatment system in workers' compensation? UR has made it impossible for seriously injured workers to obtain timely medical care. Workers with old awards of medical treatment can't even find a doctor to take on these cases. This is a life threatening emergency. The Legislature and the Governor should be looking to resolve this problem today...not a year from now.
