Ms. Edwards is Vice President, Client Services with Sedgwick Claims Management Services, Inc. in California. Connie has twenty-nine years of experience in claims administration, client services, operations and management in California. She has worked with a variety of employers in retail, trucking, paper packing and building products, security industry, telecommunications non-profit agricultural cooperatives, manufacturers, healthcare and twenty- five years with public entities providing consultative services in identifying trends to help improve employers’ workers’ compensation programs.

Connie joined Sedgwick in 2001 as a Claims Supervisor and promoted to Account Executive Assistant Vice President in 2003 with direct oversight of the second largest school district in the United States. In January 2011 Connie was promoted to Vice President, Client Services with additional responsible and over site of Sedgwick’s California public entity client practice. In her role she mentors client service directors and provides strategic analysis and consultation to the clients in her area. Connie speaks professionally at several industry conferences each year on various emerging topics in the workers’ compensation industry. Prior to joining Sedgwick CMS, Connie worked as an Account Manager for another California TPA specializing in public entities, joint powers authority (JPA) management, agricultural grower industry, retail and manufacturer. Prior to that, she was a Claims Examiner for another national TPA.

Connie has three professional designations from the Insurance Educations Association and her self-insured license for the State of California. She is a member of the National Association of Profession Women (NAPW) and has her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management through the University of Phoenix.
