Dr. James L. Stakely, 65, a San Diego, CA, doctor accused of workers' compensation fraud, will face an April 22 sentencing after pleading guilty yesterday to two counts of insurance fraud before Superior Court Judge Roger Krauel.

“The good Dr. should be doing some "real" time and paying huge fines for his actions. This 2 count plead is disappointing when he was charged with 23 counts. It is time that all professions are prosecuted equally.
Fraud is fraud. Stealing is stealing. Another example of why premiums are so high in this state.”
