Of course fees went up. We did not have a raise since 2006
We were losing QMEs. Medical records vary but review is needed. The old system was terrible. Some docs had to fight fraud and potential criminal charges if they nilled wrong. We proposed this system because of its simplicity . The billing is very clear and cannot be downcoded Please don’t cry that it costs more! It is worth it

If all doctors were AME quality, like you, I would not disagree. However, these recruits from the scheduling services do not deserve the raise that was implemented. A hack newbie QME can destroy an injured worker's life and earn 10K or 50% of that for the 17 page garbage report with 10 pages of record summary review. Those of us who care about the quality of medical legal reports are sick of it. The system is still broken. Better pay, ABSOLUTELY. But better doctors and reports are needed, too.
