What a great decision on the part of Governor Newsom. Joe is a brilliant choice. He is a scholar, has great integrity and cares about injured workers.

Congratulations to our new commissioner! Joe Capurro is truly a great choice for this very important position. He is one of our best at CAAA, a scholar and truly a great advocate for all injured workers. Thank you Gov. Newsom!

What a great choice, it is so important to have Commissioners who actually understand workers compensation and practiced law. Thank you Governor Newsom. Is there a way to get the compensation back from a Commissioner who did not participate or do his job.Does he understand how badly he hurt the Board by not participating which caused even more delays on those injured workers who needed decisions. So sad, I had a case up there for over 2 years.

I echo the other sentiments. Joe is not only a brilliant choice, but he is brilliant. He is not only a scholar, but a gentleman and caring soul. Good luck in your new, well-deserved, and important role. I have no doubt that you will do an amazing job.

Congratulations Joe and a giant HAZAH! to Governor Newsom. Joe is hands down among the brightest and most caring attorneys I have ever met. He is truly one of the greatest workers' compensation scholars on either side of the community. Those who work in the workers' compensation system and the injured workers this system is designed to serve will all benefit from Joe's tremendous experience, his desire for justice and his extraordinary intellect. The whole system just got better.

This is a great appointment to the WCAB. Joe is one of the most knowledgeable, ethical and hardest working attorneys practicing in workers compensation today.
He represents exactly the kind of nominee which should be considered for the WCAB. Joe has vast experience and unparalleled knowledge and understanding of this complex system.
Congratulations Joe. Governer could not have picked a better candidate
