Insurance industry association CLM on Thursday named Ronna Ruppelt as its new CEO.
Ruppelt brings nearly three decades of experience with legal, regulatory, compliance and claims issues. She comes to CLM from Good2Go Auto Insurance, where she was senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Before that, she held executive positions that included vice president of casualty claims at National General Insurance, vice president of claims at AIG Personal Lines, and director of claims at Direct General Insurance.
Ruppelt has been a CLM fellow since 2009 and has presented at every annual conference the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance has held since 2012.
The Institutes, an education and research provider for the risk management and property-casualty insurance industry, acquired CLM in 2018, but the association continues to operate independently under its own brand name and leadership.
