Kentucky's Education and Labor Cabinet and the Kentucky Safety and Health Network have set the 2023 Governor’s Safety and Health Conference and Exposition for May 17-19 in Louisville.
Among scheduled events are workshops focused on occupational safety and health topics, including permit-required confined space safety, injury and illness recordkeeping, disaster safety planning, hazard recognition, first aid and whistleblower protections.
Keynote speakers are Jaimie Link, Education and Labor Cabinet secretary; Kathy Stewart O’Nan, mayor of Mayfield; and Kyle Wolf, supervisory protective security adviser with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
The gathering is being held at the Crowne Plaza Louisville Airport Expo Center. Reserved seating is limited and registration closes May 12.
