The Harry A. Koch Co., an Omaha-based insurance broker, has hired Tim McMahon as sales executive for the health care team within the company’s commercial lines insurance group.

McMahon has 26 years of experience in the insurance industry, working on medical malpractice insurance for physicians, hospitals and long-term care facilities; workers' compensation; property; auto; directors and officers; and cyber insurance programs, the Omaha World-Herald reported.

McMahon worked previously as an account executive at Delphi Technology and as a professional liability resource specialist at True North Cos. He spent nine years at MMIC Group, where he was a senior marketing manager.

McMahon received a bachelor’s degree in finance from Creighton University.
