Cost vs patient care.... profit over people...This is not about business solvency, this is about making sure there is more money in the pockets of corporate billionaires and shareholders at the loss of the "cure OR relieve" standard of care for the INJURED WORKER.....the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
The costs are then borne by US , the taxpayers through emergency room visits, and Medicare and Medi-Cal payments for care. More subsidies/socialism for corporations!!!
Medicare and Medi-Cal and the taxpayer advocacy groups will catch on at some point and demand reimbursement. The ensuing court battle will be a thing of beauty.
