The National Council on Compensation Insurance will offer a first look at 2020 workers’ compensation financial results during a webinar Tuesday.
The roundtable discussion will also explore what’s ahead for 2021.
NCCI said the program will feature key findings from its Quarterly Economics Briefing on the recession and offer a demonstration of the new QEB employment scenario tool. The tool NCCI launched in December provides potential outcomes for the size and speed of economic recovery through 2021.
The webinar will also provide information on the impacts of COVID-19 on medical treatment in 2020 and an overview of remote work trends and their implications for the work comp industry.
NCCI officials speaking during the webinar include Chief Actuary Donna Glenn, Director of Medical Regulation and Informatics Raji Chadarevian, Executive Director and Senior Economist Len Herk, and Director and Actuary Vicky Mayen.
The webinar is from 2-3 p.m. Eastern Tuesday.
