A tree trimmer working in Northern California died after falling into a wood chipper, according to media reports.

The accident happened just before 1 p.m. on Tuesday in Menlo Park.

The name of the man who died has not been released, pending notification of his next of kin, according to a report by an ABC affiliate. The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office did not provide additional details.

The state Division of Occupational Safety and Health, also known as Cal/OSHA, is investigating the accident.
