It's been 2 years. It's not a new process anymore. DWC is defending these folks and will never fine them. Follow the money. I am sure someone is being greased by maximus at the DWC. The corruption runs deep.

This is like the old joke where the cop is waving his arms saying, "Move along now, nothing to see here, go about your business, move along."
Meanwhile, the building behind him is engulfed in flames with people jumping from the windows.
But I guess we should just move along and trust that they have everything under control.

This is why we have IMR and IBR. If we're going to cast blame, start at the source(s).

AA's should know if claims adjusters are not sending records as they have to copy the AA on records they are sending. Applicant attorney's is this a problem?
Another thing, if the injured worker or AA sends records, the IMR will go through.

Why is it some of the IMR determinations available to the public appear like records may not have been sent? These are not all of them, but enough of them to make me wonder. The IMR reviews available are from 2013 as only some from 2014 can be viewed.
I am confused just like everyone else.

We received another request today for an open case. We sent the records 2 times and have proof of fax confirmations as well as certified mail. This is costing the injured worker to continue to wait and also costs us as a UR company additional money in continuing to print out and mail the documents and the manpower to make up for their infrastructure deficiencies. I agree with some of these comments because this isn't a new process they need to get their act together and be held accountable. In the end a timely decision needs to be made on the reasonableness of the treatment requested.
