The DWC should fire the QMEs who get a lot of cases? So basically once you have experience and are trusted out you go? Do you realize how crazy that sounds? Your theory is completely incorrect. Extremely biased QMEs hardly ever get any work because both sides have to agree to use them. I understand your frustration but the reality is that it takes years for new QMEs to get work. It doesn't help that there have been a flood of new QMEs by groups recruiting as many as possible so they can dominate the database. This is good for them but not for you because each new QME they bring on cannibalizes your business. If anything the system is biased against doctors with experience because the attorneys are often forced to pick from a list of inexperienced doctors. BTW, this system should be designed to benefit the IW, not the QME.
