The Illinois Chamber of Commerce will hold its 14th annual Workers’ Compensation & Safety Conference on Oct. 19.
The event is intended to educate employers about the state’s workers’ compensation laws and how to reduce comp costs. Sessions will cover topics including aging, obesity and other co-morbidities, the state’s rebuttable presumption and COVID-19 claims, the impact of the pandemic and an update from the Workers’ Compensation Commission.
Registration is $249 for chamber members and $289 for nonmembers through Oct. 8. Fees increase $50 after Oct. 9.
The conference runs from 7:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Doubletree Hilton, 3003 Corporate Drive West, in the western Chicago suburb of Lisle.
