About 16% of sheriff's staff are vaccinated, according to the report.

The Social Services Agency, which has about 19% more employees that the Sheriff’s Department, accounts for 482 COVID-19 claims with total costs of $557,431, according to report.

The California Workers’ Compensation Institute reports 172,452 COVID-19 claims filed throughout the state as of Monday.
