Attorney Nathan Gamel has joined the Skaug Law firm in Nampa, Idaho. He will focus on personal injury, workers' compensation and construction law, the Idaho Business Review reported Tuesday.

Gamel, a native of Boise, graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Political Science and earned his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University in Lansing. He became a member of the Oregon State Bar in 2007 and worked as an associate at Allen Law in Portland, Oregon, where he represented plaintiffs in employment discrimination cases in both state and federal courts, according to a biography on the law firm's website.

Gamel returned to Idaho in 2009 and was admitted to the Idaho State Bar. Before joining Skaug Law in September, he worked as a senior associate at the Bowen & Bailey law firm in Boise.

Gamel is married and has two children with his wife Anna, the law firm's biography states.
