CLARA analytics, a provider of artificial intelligence technology in the commercial insurance industry, announced Pramod Akkarachittor joined the company as vice president of products.

Akkarachittor brings more than 20 years of enterprise product management and development experience to the position, CLARA said in a statement. As vice president of products, Akkarachittor is charged with overseeing products across the CLARA platform.

Prior to joining CLARA, Akkarachittor served as the vice president of products at Resilinc, where he was responsible for its AI-based supply chain SaaS platform.

Akkarachittor also served as vice president of product management for Firetide, a role in which he was responsible for the company’s overall product and solutions portfolio, market strategy and technology partnerships.

Akkarachittor is the latest high-profile executive hire at CLARA.

In September, CLARA announced that MSA veteran Kim Wiswell had joined the company as vice president of managed care operations. Additionally, Tom Ash was named senior vice president of sales and business development, while Ruth Estrich was appointed to CLARA’s advisory board.
