No Need for Authorization Form on Rx Refills, Agency Says

Louisiana's workers' compensation regulators are giving health care providers a bit of a break on paperwork.

The state's Workforce Commission, Office of Workers' Compensation Administration, announced that the LWC-WC-1010 form, long required for medications exceeding $750, will no longer be needed for prescription refills of approved medications for a six-month period.
