Getting Started With EDEX

First, you will need a paid subscription to WorkCompCentral.com. You can choose the full service WorkCompCentral subscription which includes daily news, legal and medical resources, and many other features, or you can choose the EDEX Only option if you wish only to use EDEX. "News Only" access does not qualify for EDEX. Click here to subscribe.

Second, we send an application to the state for an EDEX Client Identification Number. This number is unique and identifies you as an EDEX user to the state. We typically receive an EDEX Client Identification number for you account from DWC within one business day. If you are a case party, we can activate your account in one business day or less. You will be notified by e-mail with brief instructions on using EDEX.

Third, Pick from our two options for billing. Prepay for your EDEX credits by Credit Card, or use Monthly Billing to receive an invoice for your transactions at the end of the month.
